Andy Hirsch

Reporter

Andy Hirsch joined the 10TV News team in October 2007.  Although he grew up outside of Philadelphia, he is no stranger to the Midwest.

After graduating from Syracuse University with degrees in both Broadcast Journalism and Speech Communication, Andy started his career as a reporter at a small station in Brainerd, Minn.  The locals called his only winter there "mild" -- it only dipped to 30 degrees below zero.

From there,  he moved on to weekend anchor at KHGI in Kearney, Neb., before taking a reporter and fill-in anchor position at WNEP in Scranton, Pa.

Over the years, Andy's work has earned him awards from both the Associated Press and the Nebraska Broadcasters Association.

Andy and his wife, Annemarie, live in the Italian Village.  While they never thought they'd call Ohio home, they love the area and are both excited about what Columbus and the rest of Ohio has to offer.
