Greg Casagrande
Chopper 10 Pilot
An Ohio native, Casagrande has almost two decades of flying experience, beginning his flying career as a private pilot in a single-engine Cessna.
In 1988, Casagrande took the controls of a Hughes 269 and received his helicopter certification. From there, he began an extensive career in broadcast by flying traffic reporters for a conglomerate of central Ohio radio stations.
In 1990, Greg started his television flying career in a Hughes 369. Casagrande flew for WCMH-TV and WSYX-TV. He made the move to WBNS-10TV's Chopper 10, a Bell 407, in January 2001.
Casagrande served his country for 20 years in the U.S. Army National Guard. Most recently, he served as a crew chief on UH-1 "Hueys."
Greg lives with his wife, Kathy, in Powell. They have a daughter, a son and a grandson.
